Experience You Can Count On
Margaret Hunt
I want to praise K&D Roofing and Construction for their overall excellence in replacing my roof. What I especially liked was Kirk's estimate based on materials and time needed to complete the job based on his knowledgeable construction experience. Kirk’s work crew was efficient at performing all aspects of replacing a roof and took pride in doing quality work with honesty and seriousness in completing the job. I would recommend Kirk Flathers’ Roofing and Construction Company, 100%.
Daniel Perez

Robin Santiago
I recently used this company for a new roof installation and was thoroughly impressed. The team was punctual, kept me informed throughout the process, and the quality of the finished roof exceeded my expectations. They even finished the project ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company and would use them again for any future construction needs.

Kirk and his team took care of me from our first meeting until everything was done. He helped me navigate a dispute with State Farm and referred me to someone who could get everything taken care of. Once the work started, he was flexible with our schedule, his guys were super-professional, and everything got done to a very high standard. I highly recommend the company.

In the Area
Fountain Hail Damage You Can Spot From the Yard
Hail measured 3 inches two miles east-southeast of Fountain in June 2018, and 2.5-inch stones fell three miles north of town in August. The Colorado Roofing Association’s 2026 hail guidance lists the common signs: dented gutters, damaged siding and missing shingle granules. Gutters and siding show hail damage from the yard, so walk around the house after any hailstorm and look at both.

Yes, financing is available on the work. Ask about it when you request your estimate.
Unapproved exterior work in Ventana draws fines of $25, then $50, then $100 every 30 days under the district’s 2024 design guidelines. A committee that has not answered counts as a no, and the district can require the home put back as it was at the owner’s cost. Wait for the written yes before the shingle replacement starts.
Yes, every side of the home has to keep its original type, texture and color after a repair, under the guidelines Cumberland Green’s metro district issued in July 2018, after that summer’s hailstorm. When the original siding is no longer made or has faded, the district has to approve the replacement siding before it is installed. Keep a piece of the damaged siding to show what is being matched.
Yes, we keep standing discounts for serving and retired military, for police, fire, and EMS, and for seniors. That covers soldiers stationed at Fort Carson, directly west of town. Mention your service on the first call.
